Principles and Practice of Assessment
Option units: you must complete six credits from these units:
Preparing for the Coaching Role
Preparing for the Mentoring Role
Equality and Diversity
Specialist Delivery Techniques and Activities
Delivering Employability Skills
Evaluating Learning Programmes
You need a total of 24 credits to achieve this qualification.
There is also a requirement for 30 hours of teaching practice.
Description of activities/exercises:
You will complete workbook activities exploring the role, responsibilities and boundaries of the teacher in the PTLLS unit, identify what is involved in planning and enabling learning and investigate different assessment techniques and methods for your students through viewing multimedia and interactive learning presentations, reading textbooks and researching/studying adult teaching concepts and models using reliable websites online. All provided through the centre for your convenience.
