PTLLS level 3 or Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector is an excellent accredited train the trainer course for those already delivering training or aspiring to be a trainer.

Old and new ptlls versions are available through HRD services.

Please contact us if you require the new specification delivered online, in the workplace or classroom. Both the 6 and 12 credit qualifications are ready to roll out at short notice.

Interested candidates should note the old 6 credit and new 12 credit qualifications hold equivalence on the New QCF. There is no particular need to upgrade from this six credit to twelve unless you have a specific reason to do so.

The Edexcel Level 3 BTEC Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector is a 60–hour qualification consisting of a single unit. This qualification is available at Level 3 and provides a basic minimum standard for all those entering the profession of teaching in the lifelong learning sector. To achieve the whole qualification, a learner must successfully complete the unit.
